A little over a year ago I was starting my Mega Man summer review-a-thon, which I’m finishing this summer and one of the first games I reviewed was the third entry in the Mega Man Game Boy line and I remember hating having to play through the game for said review, yet for some reason I ended up giving the game a 6.5/10, while I gave Mega Man II, a game I like a bit more, a 5/10. I haven’t really played Mega Man III since that review and going back to it for Review a Bad Game Day wasn’t a pleasant experience.
To start things off, Mega Man III was the last game in the Blue Bomber’s Game Boy series I got. Before this, I had played Mega Man IV and Mega Man V which are my favorite games in the Classic series and Wily’s Revenge and Mega Man II which I thought were okay games so I had high hopes for this game, especially since it had bosses and music from one of my favorite Mega Man and NES games, Mega Man 3. So why did this game leave a sour taste in my mouth?
